Hua Hin Tourist Office

On 21 May 2009 Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) has opened its new office at Hua Hin District, Prachuap Khirikhan Province.  President of TAT board Mr. Weerasak Kowsurat has presided over the opening ceremony.

Hua Hin Tourist Office is one of the 13 newly open offices opened recently. Currently there are 35 tourist offices nationwide responsible for promoting tourism in 76 provinces of Thailand. 

The new Hua Hin Tourist Office is perfect for promoting tourism. It will help greatly meet tourist needs.

Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT)

The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) was established on March 18, 1960, the first organization in Thailand to be responsible specifically for the promotion of tourism.

TAT supplies information and data on tourist areas to the public, publicizes Thailand so as to encourage Thai and international tourists to travel in Thailand, conducts studies to set development plans for tourist areas, and co-operates with and supports the production and development of personnel in the field of tourism.

Since the inception of the first local office of TAT in Chiang Mai in 1968, there are now 35 local offices throughout Thailand. TAT has also established many overseas offices the first being the New York office in 1965. TAT has since established 15 more offices in different parts of the world during the past 30 years.

Hua Hin Tourist Police

Tourist Police in Thailand have duties and authority to assist visitors (both Thais and foreigners) when they need help, prevent crime against tourists and ensure that the visitors will receive fair treatment. Tourist Police assist also the local police to enforce criminal law, suppress and investigate crime. Tourist Police collaborate with other police units based on specific assignments. In addition Tourist Police works closely with other related agencies to promote tourism in Hua Hin and Thailand.

Tourist Police Station is located at 3/2 Damnern Kasem Rd. Hua Hin District Prachuap Kirikhan Province, 77110. The easiest way to reach it, is to go to the public beach access near Centrara Hotel.
