80 persons ordained for HM the King Birthday Anniversary Celebration

On Friday 27 July 2007 Governor of Prachuab Khiri Khan province Khun Prasong Pitulkisja has arranged a ceremony, during which 80 persons were ordained as monks at Bootsaya Banpot temple.

Many government officials and almost ten thousand Hua Hin residents have participated in this merit making ceremony. 80 persons called “Poh Nark” have entered the monkhood.

 

 

Hua Hin Bootsaya Banpot templeAbbot of Bootsaya Banpot temple Pra Boonlert has welcomed the Governor and has presented three sets of garments of a Buddhist Monk. He then presented them to the 80 persons entering monkhood.

After the garment presentation part all officials and Hua Hin residents have turned face towards portraits of HM the King and the Royal Prince Sodej Pra Borom and have paid homage to HM the King and Royal Prince.
